When dropping off your favorite clothes, you will need to know the terms for the dry cleaner and different types of cleaning services. If you are in a rush, you can request that the service be rushed or urgent.

Fabrics and Shrinkage
Taking care of delicate clothing means paying attention to the material. When dealing with a delicate fabric, you want to make sure the washing process will not cause it to shrink.
Notice how the negative particle لن (will not) is placed directly before a present tense verb to indicate that an action will not happen in the future.

Fabric Softeners and Ironing
To keep your clothes feeling fresh and looking crisp, workers might use fabric softener or professionally iron them.

When explaining why an action was taken, you can attach the preposition لـ (to / in order to) directly to the beginning of a present tense verb.

Collars and Faded Colors
Over time, frequent washing can affect specific parts of your garments, such as the collar, or cause the colors to become faded.
| The color of this collar is very faded. | لون هذه الياقة باهت جدا.lawnu hâdhihi l-yâqati bâhitun jiddan |
When using adjectives to describe a specific noun, remember that they must match the noun in definiteness. For example, to say "the faded fabric," you must pair a definite noun with a definite adjective (النسيج الباهت).
| Will dry cleaning ruin the faded fabric? | هل سيفسد التنظيف الجاف النسيج الباهت؟hal sayufsidu at-tanzîfu al-jâffu an-nasîja al-bâhit? |
