Adding Extra Information with Причём and Притом

To add an important extra detail, clarification, or bonus fact to a statement, Russian uses the conjunctions причём (moreover, and what's more) and притом (besides, moreover).

These conjunctions connect two clauses, where the second clause expands on the first. Always place a comma before them.

The conjunction притом functions almost identically and is used to attach a complementary point or circumstance.

Good nutrition is important, besides, one needs to remember about the routine.
Хорошее питание — это важно, притом нужно помнить про режим.
