In परसों मिलेंगे; मैं ज़रूर आऊँगी।, the verbs are in the future, so परसों clearly means the day after tomorrow.
Why is मिलेंगे plural here?
मिलेंगे is the future tense form of मिलना (to meet), and here it means we will meet.
Hindi often leaves out subject pronouns when they are understood from context. So:
- परसों मिलेंगे = (We) will meet the day after tomorrow
The ending -ेंगे often goes with:
- हम (we) in the future, or
- a respectful/polite you in some contexts
But here the natural meaning is we will meet.
Why isn’t हम written in परसों मिलेंगे?
