GRE Verbal — Essential Vocabulary

This course drills the vocabulary half of the GRE Verbal section — the roughly one in two Verbal questions (Text Completion and Sentence Equivalence) that turn directly on whether you know the word. Nearly 1,200 exercises across 10 lessons: three graded word tiers from foundation to advanced, synonym clusters organized by tone, commonly confused pairs, the secondary meanings the GRE loves to test (monitor, habit, afford), word roots and prefixes, and sentence-completion practice that puts it all back into GRE-style sentences.

Every card is typed recall with audio and an example sentence, scheduled by spaced repetition so words come back just before you would forget them. To be straight about scope: this is the vocabulary layer, not a mock exam — pair it with the official practice tests for question-format drill.
