### The preposition "chez"

In French, the preposition **chez** translates to "at the home of" or "at the place of". It is used to express going to or being at someone's house, apartment, or even their workplace. You simply place **chez** before a noun referring to a person.

You can also combine **chez** with stress pronouns (**moi**, **toi**, **lui**, **elle**, **nous**, **vous**, **eux**, **elles**) to say "at my place," "at your place," and so on.
