Ob die schöne Frau auch wieder da ist.
He hopes so.
Er hofft es.

enttäuscht
actually an interesting word to dissect... Tausch = change / exchange (instead of one thing I have put another)

täuschen = to cheat s.o by telling/giving/showing him a thing for another

ent- has the same effect on a word as a needle on a balloon

The Mann was ge-täusch-t (perfect participle) by some hope, some illusion. Now the balloon has popped. He is disillusioned.

However it translates as: disappointed

The little man is disappointed.
Der kleine Mann ist enttäuscht.
sad
traurig
Being sad he goes back to work.
Traurig geht er zurück zur Arbeit.
Here traurig is used as an adverb, but it can be an adjective as well:

Der traurige Mann geht zur Arbeit zurück.

The sad man goes back to work.
Der traurige Mann geht zur Arbeit zurück.
