Japanese 274 - まだ~ていません: have not ... yet

To say that you have not done something yet, you can use the structure まだ + て-form + いません. Note that this is まだ followed by the negative present continuous. This expresses the idea of have not … yet.

To make this last sentence, we use まだ, meaning yet, with a verb in the negative present continuous. It can either be formal, まだ + て-form + いません, or informal まだ + て-form + いない.
